Documentation

Everything you need to run GNO locally.

GNO is a local knowledge workspace. The docs cover installation, configuration, the CLI, the web UI, the REST API, the SDK, and the MCP integration for every major AI client. There’s also a section on the optional gno.sh publishing layer for when you need to share a note or collection beyond your machine. The publish transport is explicit: export locally with gno publish export, then upload the artifact in the gno.sh studio.

New here? Start with the quickstart — you’ll go from an empty folder to hybrid search + AI answers in under five minutes.
